Jumping or show jumping is a discipline in which the rider and his mount jump over obstacles built with movable bars. Show jumping is the most popular equestrian sport in the world. There are different types of obstacles such as floor bars, crosses, verticals and oxers. During a competition, the height of the obstacles is very variable. Riders are ranked according to the best time on the course but also the number of faults.
