Disabled sport - Goalball

Goalball is a ball sport that is played by visually impaired athletes (visually impaired or blind). It is one of the Paralympic sport disciplines and was invented after the Second World War. Goalball is played on a flat field of 18 metres by 9 metres. It is divided every 3 metres to give 6 zones of equal dimensions. Goal cages extend the field at each end.
