Once you have found the club of your dreams, the cost of registering and subscribing may put a damper on it. To help you out, some areas of Brussels operate a sports voucher system, often for children, but sometimes for adults too. You may have to pay a fixed fee or a percentage of the full price of subscribing to a sports club. Do not hesitate to contact the sports department of your municipality to find out if you are entitled to sports vouchers and what the terms and conditions are.
Some CPAS also provide assistance to encourage the people of Brussels, male and female alike, to engage in sports.
Of course, you can find out more from your mutual insurance company. Most offer refunds of €30 to €60 per year for children and adults when you register with a sports club.
