Squash - Racket Ball
Racket ball was created in the United States in 1949. It is an adaptation of the rules of squash to a handball court, played with a tennis racket with a shortened handle and a ball that is bigger than the squash ball and faster than the tennis ball. Played on a spacious but closed court (12.20 m deep, 6.10 m wide and 6.10 m high), all surfaces can be used to bounce the ball towards the front wall. Unlike squash, there is no imaginary net on the front wall. The ball can hit the wall as low as you wish, provided of course that it hits the ground only after bouncing off the wall, and not before. On the other hand, compared to squash, the ball bounces much more. To win the match you have to total two winning sets. The first two sets are played to 15 points.
