Kayaking - Kayak Polo

Kayak polo is a team sport where two teams of five players, each in a kayak, compete against each other with a ball on a rectangular body of water for two ten-minute halves. The winning team is the one that has scored the most goals. This sport is often described as a mix of kayaking, handball, basketball and water polo. The tactics and reading of the game are similar to handball, basketball and water polo, but to this is added the complexity of the boats, which need to be positioned to shoot, throw and protect the ball.
