Disabled sport - Torball

Torball is a ball sport that is played by visually impaired athletes (visually impaired or blind). Torball is not part of the Paralympic sports because goalball, another team sport played by visually impaired athletes, is already recognised. Sound plays a predominant role. This physical activity combines resistance, alertness and flexibility. As well as the notion of spatial awareness, the movements must be coordinated and precise in response to the sounds heard.
