Disabled Sport

Disabled sport is a sports discipline whose rules have been adapted so that it can be taken up by people with a physical or sensory disability. Adaptive sports are sports played by people with an intellectual disability. Many of these sports are based on existing sports. However, some sports have been created specifically for people with disabilities and have no equivalent in so-called valid sports.
