Climbing - Boulder

Boulder climbing, referred to as bouldering in the jargon used by its practitioners, is a sport discipline and a type of climbing that consists of climbing low-level boulders. Bouldering can be done both outdoors on rocky sites and indoors on artificial structures. Practitioners are called "climbers" or more precisely "boulder climbers". Generally speaking, the surface to be climbed - simply called a "boulder" - is no more than five metres high and allows you to fall back to the ground with a reduced risk of injury. Bouldering is therefore easy to enjoy without the classic climbing belay equipment, such as rope, carabiners and harness.
