Badminton

Badminton is a racket sport with either two players (singles) or two pairs (doubles) playing on each half of a court separated by a net. Players score points by hitting a shuttlecock with a racket to make it fall into the opponent's court. The exchange is over as soon as the shuttlecock touches the ground or gets caught in the net. The shuttlecock is a projectile with unique aerodynamic properties that give it a very different trajectory from the balls used in most racket sports.
