Aeromodelling

Air modelling, or flying models for sport, is a form of model making that developed in line with the boom in aviation, the aim being to reproduce the flight and piloting technique using specific models and the visual appearance through reduced scale models of actual aircraft. The models can vary significantly in size, from 10 cm to several metres in span, with the mass ranging from a few grams to 150 kilograms. The flying models extend from “peanut-scale planes” for indoor flight to radio-controlled models.
