Our club, founded in 1955, offers the following activities:
- Sportive caving, which involves underground descents using equipment like ropes, carabiners, anchors, etc. We have also a cave diving section. We practice this in Belgium as well as abroad, primarily in France. Each year, we organize multi-day caving camps, sometimes in collaboration with other clubs. This is a chance to explore mountainous areas in a more in-depth way.
- Introductory caving: we guide beginners either in easy caves to introduce them to the underground world, or during rope technique sessions at the Basilica of Koekelberg (see the "Training" section in the menu on the left).
- Canyoning, which is the descent of outdoor cliffs and waterfalls. The club regularly organizes canyoning camps abroad.
- Caving exploration, which involves the discovery of new caves. Some of our members are active in Belgium, Switzerland, and Thailand.
- Cave management: we are fortunate to manage a cave discovered more than ten years ago, and we organize visits several times a year for interested clubs.
- Caving courses: these are open quarries or old military forts equipped for caving. We participate each year in various events organized by other clubs (Barchon, Villers-Le-Gambon, Senzeille).
- Via ferrata, which are “mountain” routes secured with cables and ladders.
