La Tangueria is "THE house of Argentine Tango in Brussels", near Simonis, at the crossroads of Jette, Koekelberg and Molenbeek. Since 1996, the founders Marisa van Andel & Oliver Koch have trained hundreds of "tangonautes" from Belgium and abroad in the main styles of Argentine Tango.

Tango argentino is the ultimate couple dance, combining technique and elegance with improvisation and creativity. But while the spectacular tango requires a good know how and flexibility, the social tango can be danced by everyone and learned at any age: no physical preparation is required, because it is in the coordination and the complicity that this dance for 2 is born.

More than just a simple sport, tango is an art of living where communication, complicity and listening are essential. Dancing tango has many benefits both physically and morally. This dance in couple and in group solicits the body and the spirit to better make us feel the present moment and to connect us to the others and to ourselves. It is above all a way to let go, to express oneself, to have fun, to let off steam and to feel fully alive. Dancing tango favors the production of endorphins and oxytocin, the "hormones of happiness".

In addition to Argentine Tango classes for all levels, La Tangueria offers workshops, coachings, milongas, thé dansants, animations, demonstrations, choreographies, team buildings, and a Tango-DJ. ? La Tangueria also houses a showroom of shoes and clothes for tango dancers and a permamnete exhibition of tango art. In addition to the headquarters in Simonis, La Tangueria also offers occasional initiations in the district of the Porte de Namur in Ixelles.
