Open-air swimming in Brussels

For more than 40 years, it has not been possible to bathe outdoors in our capital. But thanks to the initiatives of POOL IS COOL, it is now possible. How important is outdoor swimming for urban spaces and their inhabitants?

POOL IS COOL is organising an evening in two parts:

In the first one, we will talk about bathing in Brussels and place it in the (inter)national context through examples and experiences. Various local actors will then present their projects, the first steps towards the new landscape of open-air bathing in Brussels.

In the second one, we open the discussion to your questions and comments on outdoor swimming and specific projects. What are your experiences and where do you want to swim in Brussels?
