Rowing

Rowing belongs to the water sports family. It has been an Olympic sport since the creation of the modern Olympic Games in 1896. This sport consists of propelling a narrow, elongated form of drag using oars, also known as blades by the professionals, but in some cases also known as “sculls”. There are two categories that are practised over different distances: river rowing and sea rowing.
