The Speed Motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycle sport discipline consisting of a speed race on a circuit. The main event of this formula, which is run with prototypes, is the World Motorcycle Speed Championships, especially the MotoGP. The World Superbike (1,000 cc four-cylinder and 1,200 cc twins) and Supersport (600 cc four-cylinder and 675 cc three-cylinder) World Championships see machines closer to the series compete.
