Dance - Waltz
The waltz, ballroom or folklore, is a dance generally written in 3/4 time, sometimes taken on a one-two pattern (slow waltz with three binary beats) or more often with one downbeat and one upbeat (to the measure, to a ternary beat) cadencing its famous binary rhythm and in which the interlaced couple moves on the dance floor by turning on itself.
