Dance - Classic

Ballet is a dramatic genre where the action is represented by pantomimes and dances. Its origins date back to the Italian Renaissance. First developed at the Italian court, ballet acquired its reputation in France, then in Russia, as a dance performance. The fundamental principles of the ballet technique remain the same to this day: general body posture, proper position, alignment of head and shoulders in a vertical, slender silhouette, quantity and quality of leg rotations pointing outwards from the body, dancing on pointe and suppleness. The goal is perfect footwork, graceful carriage of the arms and head and an aesthetically correct position of the various angles.
