Tradition inherited from Japan and its history, Kyudo (Japanese archery) is deeply rooted in the Japanese soul. Kyudo cultivates values as expressed in the Raiki-Shagi (Records of Etiquette – Truth of Shooting): ‘The shot, with its succession of forward and backward movements, can never be performed without courtesy and correctness (Rei)’. The fundamental values pursued through the practice of Kyudo are Shin (Truth), Zen (Kindness), Bi (Beauty).

Complete, not limited to the sole technique, it is aimed at the human being in all its complexity, body and spirit, mental and feeling, and looking at the unification of body, spirit and technique.

Alive, the present linked to the past in the dynamics of constant practice and study; in the richness of shared practice between European and Japanese archers, at the occasion of national and international seminars and meetings.
