RCA Jette (number 48), currently the 8th oldest basketball club in Belgium, was founded on 21 March 1938 as the "Cercle Athlétique Féminin de Jette" with the aim of practising athletics, country, basketball, volleyball and physical education.

On 17 March 1942, the club created a men's section under the name of "Cercle Athlétique de Jette", which was the only one in operation from 1947 onwards. At that time, the club's colours were blue and yellow.

For many years, the club played in the national division on the Place Cardinal Mercier, opposite the Jette railway station, with changing rooms "at the corner bistro".

The construction of the sports hall in Jette in the 1970's allowed CA Jette to play in a sheltered environment.

In 1988, CA Jette was allowed to use the title of "royal society" in view of its 50 years of existence, and on 14 June 2013 the club became a non-profit organisation to meet the requirements of the AWBB and thus became RCA Jette ASBL.

The club is active in the provincial and veteran championship; training takes place in the Jette Sports Centre (avenue du Comté de Jette 3, 1090 Jette).
