Volleyball - Netball

Netball is a team sport between two teams of seven players. Its development, derived from basketball, began in England in the 1890s. Matches are played on a rectangular court with raised baskets at each end. Each team tries to score goals by passing the ball across the field and shooting through the baskets. Players are assigned to specific positions, which define their roles within the team and restrict their movements in certain areas of the field. During the match, a player who has the ball may only hold it for three seconds before passing it to another player or shooting at goal. The winning team is the one that scores the most points during the sixty minutes of a netball game.
