Volleyball - Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of two players, separated by a net, play against each other with a ball that they send back to each other with their hands. Although derived from volleyball, beach volleyball differs from volleyball in that it is usually played outdoors on a beach (or sand-covered court) and each team is made up of only two players. The court measures 16 metres by 8 metres. The ball is heavier than the classic volleyball, less inflated, waterproof (so as not to get heavy in the rain), fleece-covered and brightly coloured.
