Tennis - Padel

Padel is a racket sport derived from tennis, played on a smaller court, framed by walls and fences. The score is calculated in the same way as in tennis and the balls used have a slightly lower pressure. It is only played in doubles and only underarm services are authorised. Its biggest difference with tennis, however, is that the balls can be played after bouncing off walls or fencing, in a similar way to squash.
The spelling padel makes it easier to distinguish it from paddle-tennis, another sport derived from tennis, as well as from stand-up paddle (aquatic sport). The court is 20 metres long and 10 metres wide.
